Terms of Use
These terms are an agreement between you and REPLACE_WITH_LEGAL_NAME (“we”, “us”), the publisher of Name More!. They apply to the Name More! apps and to playnamemore.com. By playing, you accept these terms. If you do not accept them, please do not use the game.
1. Who can play
You must be at least 13 years old to play. If you are under the age of legal majority where you live, you confirm that a parent or guardian has agreed to these terms for you.
2. Your account
Name More! creates an anonymous account for you automatically. Your progress is tied to that account on your device. If you delete the app, reset your device, or delete your data without a way to restore it, your progress may be lost permanently. We cannot recover anonymous accounts. You are responsible for activity on your device.
3. How the game works
Our servers decide whether an answer is accepted, what it is worth, who claimed it first, scores, rankings, and rewards, and their decision is final. Answer lists, rarity values, and scoring may change as more people play and as we improve the game.
4. Tokens and in-game items
Tokens, hints, and other in-game items are a limited, personal, revocable license to use features in the game. They have no monetary value, cannot be exchanged for money or anything outside the game, and cannot be sold or transferred. We may change how Tokens are earned or spent. Unused Tokens are lost if your account is deleted. The current version has no real-money purchases. If we add them, the terms of the App Store or Google Play and any additional terms we publish will apply to them.
5. Fair play
You agree not to:
- use bots, scripts, modified clients, or automation to play or submit answers;
- exploit bugs, or attack, overload, reverse engineer, or interfere with our servers or other players' games;
- access or try to access another player's account or data;
- type unlawful, hateful, or harassing content, or other people's personal information, into the game.
We may reset scores, remove leaderboard entries, or suspend or delete accounts that break these rules.
6. Our content and your submissions
The game, its name, art, sounds, board content, and software belong to us or our licensors. We give you a personal, non-exclusive, non-transferable license to play the game for your own non-commercial use. You give us a worldwide, royalty-free license to use the answers you type to run the game, calculate answer rarity, and improve matching, as described in our Privacy Policy.
7. Availability and changes
The game needs an internet connection. We may update, change, pause, or stop the game or any mode, board, or feature, including for maintenance. We will give reasonable notice before permanently shutting down the service where we can.
8. Disclaimer
The game is provided “as is” and “as available”. To the extent the law allows, we make no warranties that it will be uninterrupted, error-free, or that any answer, fact, or ranking is accurate. Nothing in these terms affects rights you have as a consumer that cannot be waived by contract.
9. Limitation of liability
To the extent the law allows, we are not liable for indirect or consequential losses, or for loss of progress, Tokens, or data. Our total liability to you for any claim is limited to the amount you paid us in the 12 months before the claim, or €50 if you paid nothing. We do not exclude liability for death or personal injury caused by negligence, for fraud, or for anything else that cannot be excluded by law.
10. Ending this agreement
You can stop playing and delete your account at any time. We may suspend or end your access if you seriously or repeatedly break these terms. Sections 6, 8, 9, and 12 continue to apply after the agreement ends.
11. Apple and Google
If you downloaded Name More! from the Apple App Store, you also agree to Apple's Licensed Application End User License Agreement. These terms are between you and us, not Apple. Apple has no responsibility for the app, its maintenance or support, or any claims about it, and Apple and its subsidiaries are third-party beneficiaries of these terms. If you downloaded it from Google Play, Google Play's terms also apply.
12. Governing law
These terms are governed by the laws of REPLACE_WITH_COUNTRY. If you are a consumer, you also keep the protection of the mandatory laws of the country where you live, and you may bring claims in your local courts.
13. Changes to these terms
We may update these terms. We will post the new version here with a new effective date and, for material changes, tell you in the app. If you keep playing after a change takes effect, you accept the new terms.
