Common questions
The game says it cannot connect
Name More! checks every answer on our server, so it needs an internet connection. Check that your Wi-Fi or mobile data is working, then tap Try again. If it still fails, email us with your device model and the time it happened.
My answer should have counted
Try the most common spelling or name. The game accepts many spellings, plurals, and small typos, but it is strict about near-misses on purpose, because accepting a wrong answer would be unfair to other players. If you are sure an answer is missing, email us with the board name and what you typed. Reports like that help us improve the answer lists.
How does scoring work?
Every answer has a rarity based on how many players find it: Common, Rare, Epic, or Myth. Rarer answers are worth more. In multiplayer, claiming an answer before the other players also counts.
How do I play with friends?
Open Friends in the app and create a room. Share the invite link or the six-character room code. Your friends open the link, or open Friends in the app, choose Enter your room code, and type it in.
I got a new phone and my progress is gone
Accounts are anonymous and stored on your device, so progress does not move to a new device automatically. Deleting the app can also reset it. We cannot recover anonymous accounts, but if you still have the old device, keep playing there.
Where do I find my account reference?
In the app, open Privacy & data. Your account reference, a long code, is shown there. It is the only link to your anonymous data, so keep a copy and include it when you contact us about your account.
Delete your account and data
In the app, open Privacy & data and choose Delete my data. Deletion is immediate. If you no longer have the app, use the account deletion page.
